Kick-off Meeting for the CETCI Inclusive Teaching Reading Group Online

The Center for Educational Technology and Curricular Innovation (CETCI) will be facilitating its first ever University-wide pedagogy reading group beginning this Spring. We will be reading, What Inclusive Instructors Do: Principles and Practices for Excellence in College Teaching, by Tracie Marcella Addy, Derek Dube, Khadijah A. Mitchell and Mallory SoRelle.

This book presents compelling models for inclusive teaching--educational practices that help instructors create learning environments where all students can succeed as their authentic selves--and offers practical research-based advice and methods that can be incorporated into classes across disciplines.

At this short kick-off meeting, we'll introduce our faculty discussion leaders and the text as well as provide a preview of what we can expect in the coming weeks. The meeting will be held virtually on Zoom.
