SUMMARY:Kick-off Meeting for the CETCI Inclusive Teaching Reading Group
DESCRIPTION:The Center for Educational Technology and Curricular Innovation 
 (CETCI) will be facilitating its first ever University-wide pedagogy 
 reading group beginning this Spring. We will be reading\, What Inclusive 
 Instructors Do: Principles and Practices for Excellence in College 
 Teaching\, by Tracie Marcella Addy\, Derek Dube\, Khadijah A. Mitchell and 
 Mallory SoRelle.\n\nThis book presents compelling models for inclusive 
 teaching--educational practices that help instructors create learning 
 environments where all students can succeed as their authentic selves--and 
 offers practical research-based advice and methods that can be incorporated 
 into classes across disciplines.\n\nAt this short kick-off meeting\, we'll 
 introduce our faculty discussion leaders and the text as well as provide a 
 preview of what we can expect in the coming weeks. The meeting will be held
