The CETCI Winter Instititue will introduce participants to fundamental course design principles over a full day of acrtivities and workshops. Participants will be taken through structured exercises where they will develop course and unit-level outcomes, varoious assessment measures, and engaging learning activiites. Participants will also receive practical tips and advice on common course development topics such as deciding which technologies to use, how to create an effective syllabus, and ensuring that a course is inclusive.

Participants will receive lunch a small stipend for attendance.

This workshop will be particulalry useful for new faculty or faculty who are engaged in course redesign projects, but anyone is welcome to register.

Attendance will be kept small to ensure that each participant will be able to fully engage in all of the activities. If we receive a large number of registrations, we will select participants from the waitlist based on their goals for the workshop and their ability to attend entire workshop.
