Engaged Remote Participation in Classes In-Person / Online

Do you have a student who can't make it to class for reasons beyond their control? Are you hoping to get a guest speaker, but they're too far away to be there in person? The new technology in many of our classrooms can facilitate remote participation in a way that is full and meaningful, if it is well set up. Faculty have developed robust methods and structures for facilitating everything from group work to class discussions with remote participants fully involved. At this workshop we will cover how to refine your audio-visual setup, how to make the best use of collaborative tools, how to facilitate small-group learning with remote students, and much more.
