AI Petting Zoo In-Person

Are you curious about some of the new generative AI tools but haven't had a chance to explore them? We're excited to invite you to our first ever AI Petting Zoo, an interactive showcase where you can experiment with a few of these new AI technologies without needing accounts or special equipment.

What to Expect:

  • Five hands-on stations featuring different AI tools
  • A Pacific faculty or staff member at each station who will provide an overview of the tool, answer questions, and provide educational context—including literacy frameworks, prompting tips, or other ideas about how you might use these in your teaching.
  • No need to create accounts or bring special equipment or devices.
  • Drop in any time during the session.

Our goal is simple: to allow you to explore and experience various AI services that could enhance your teaching and academic work. While some stations will include specific frameworks and prompting techniques, the focus is on hands-on exploration rather than formal presentation.

This is a drop in session: come at any time during the session timeframe and stay for as long as you like!
